Cessation of ASX listed debt & hybrid credit ratings

CESSATION OF ASX LISTED DEBT & HYBRID CREDIT RATINGS

Melbourne, Monday 16 June 2025 – Australia Ratings today announced it will cease assigning credit ratings to debt and hybrid securities listed on the ASX, effective 30 June 2025.

This includes the public ratings of the Australian Government Treasury Bonds and Treasury Indexed Bonds, as well as the Australian Unity Bonds (ASX codes: AYUHD and AYUHE) issued by Australian Unity Limited (AUL).

The current credit rating of the Australian Unity Bonds (AYUHD and AYUHE) is ‘BBB+’ with a product complexity indicator (PCI) of ‘GREEN’. The current rating primarily reflects the analysis of AUL’s financial statements for the year ending 30 June 2024. The PCI represents Australia Ratings’ opinion that the Bonds have simple and straight forward terms and conditions.
